Seguramente el amigo Mourinho hubiera preferido que el genio Zlatan permaneciera en la escuadra milanesa, pero un enfermo de la táctica como es el portugués habrá visto en la operación una oportunidad de cambiar un modus operandi que, cierto es, ha servido a los “nerazurri” para reinar en el descafeinado “calcio” de los últimos tiempos, pero que nunca ha alcanzado para competir con los gigantes de Europa.
Hasta la llegada de Ibrahimovic el juego del Barça era completo, perfectamente meditado, coral y cuya harmoniosa cuadratura no encorsetaba la libertad creativa de nuestros fantásticos jugadores. Como un tema de Neil Young o una novela de Josef Conrad, donde todo encaja, hasta cada cabriola musical o cada pirueta literaria. El portento Zlatan es el delantero total: flirtea con el balón (ahora lo esconde, ahora lo muestra), remata de primeras, choca, dribla, se asocia, abre espacios, arrastra defensas… Decía Pep de Pedro (que apuesto será una de las sensaciones de la temporada) que “conoce bien el oficio de extremo”. En la misma línea se puede decir que no hay un aspecto del oficio del delantero que Ibrahimovic no domine de manera abrumadora. ¡Menudo ariete! ¡Imagínenlo junto a Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, Alves, etc.!
Es indiscutible que este es el Barça de Messi, tanto en el terreno de juego como a escala salarial, pero no podemos descartar que impregnado de nuestra filosofía futbolística y liberado de las ataduras del rígido fútbol italiano, Ibrahimovic destape el tarro de las esencias para convertirse en el alma misma de nuestro fútbol, y como “Long” John Silver o Hanníbal Lecter termine por ser el prodigioso personaje secundario que eclipsa al protagonista para otorgarle un sentido total al relato. Dice un proverbio japonés que “el alma del samurái es la katana, y su punta la parte más importante, pues es la parte que el samurái muestra al mundo.” En un equipo de fútbol, el perfil del 9 condiciona el espíritu mismo de su juego, constituyendo su vanguardia, su fachada principal. Ibra no es Eto’o, y algunas cosas cambiaran, pero los culés no podemos (ni debemos) esperar que vayan a hacerlo para mal, sino poner toda nuestra fe en que la combinación Ibrahimovic – Barça resultará demoledora para la temporada entrante y también para las que la vendrán.
Decía en el último post que el fútbol no es álgebra (¡menos mal!), y que por esta misma razón el Madrid de CR96 y Kaká no tenía porqué superar automáticamente los muchos puntos que consiguió el Madrid de Raúl e Higuaín. La misma afirmación es válida para el Barça actual. Quizás Zlatan no consiga los 30 goles de Eto’o, y es poco probable que el equipo repita el triplete del año pasado (no lo olvidemos: el Santo Grial de la Europa futbolística) a pesar de su contratación, pero sea como sea la incorporación de este fuera de serie ha sido, a priori y a mi entender, un golpe de mercado acertadísimo que arrojará jugosos dividendos deportivos al Club.
